A Brief History of the Fire Equipment Inspection & Decontamination Workgroup

W ildland firefighting equipment is an identified vector in the possible spread of invasive species. While the National Multi-Agency Coordinating Group on fire has provided information to help prevent the spread of invasive species through wildlife firefighting activities, the WRP recognized further specific prevention guidance would complement those resources.
This workgroup was created in 2018.
This workgroup is currently dormant following the completion of the protocol document.
