2024 Annual Meeting
The WRP is Proudly holding their 2024 Annual Meeting in Colorado – October 23-25 in Grand Junction. The WRP Annual Meeting 2024 is hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Please check this page frequently as new information will be posted as it becomes available.

REGISTRATION
There is no cost to attend the annual meeting. However, for planning purposes all in-person attendees must register for the event. If you will not attend in person, see information below about virtual participation. Registration for the event includes multiple coffee breaks, lunch on Day 1 and social hour on Day 1.

The field trip on October 25 is limited to the first 50 registrants for participation. The trip will include site visits to Highline Reservoir and the Colorado River to discuss on-going AIS management projects. Participants should plan for rain or shine conditions.

Virtual participation will be available. No registration is required to participate. A join link will be shared on this page to join the meeting in October. All virtual participants will join in listen only mode. Q&A with speakers will be limited to directly emailing participants with your question.

There are multiple hotels within short walking distance of the Convention Center. The WRP is able to offer a hotel rate of $107/night plus tax (federal per diem rate) at three hotel locations adjacent to Convention Center. VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION
Virtual participation for the 2024 Annual Meeting will be limited. The WRP will have a virtual platform to join the meeting, however there will be limited ability to interact with the speakers and audience. We encourage you to participate in person. If you have any questions or comments regarding virtual participation – please reach out.
PLANNING YOUR TRIP
The Convention Center and the meeting hotels are within walking distance of each other. Plus the hotels and convention center are all in the heart of downtown – no rental car needed!
Drive: Grand Junction is equidistant between Denver, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah. Driving from either Denver or Salt Lake City is easy and efficient. I-70 runs right through Grand Junction, connecting all three cities. Drive time from Denver is 4 hours and Salt Lake City is 4 hours, 15 minutes.
Fly: The Grand Junction Regional Airport is serviced by multiple airlines including:
United Airlines – Direct flights from Denver International Airport.
American Airlines – Direct flights from Houston, TX and Phoenix, AZ.
Allegiant – Direct flights to Las Vegas, NV.
Breeze – Direct flights to Orange County, CA.
Train: Grand Junction’s train station is part of the Amtrak – California Zephyr route, which runs from Chicago to Emeryville (San Francisco) with 30+ stops in between.
