Annual Meeting 2025 September 17-19, 2025 Lawrence, Kansas
The WRP is proudly holding their 2025 Annual Meeting in Kansas with the Mississippi River Basin Panel and is hosted by Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.

AGENDA-AT-A-GLANCE
Pre-meetings, September 16 – tentative individual meetings among state partners (time/location TBD), and federal partners
Day 1, September 17 – 8am-5pm agenda with multiple presentations, discussions and opportunities to network
Day 2, September 18 – 8am-5pm agenda with multiple presentations, business meeting, committee meetings, discussions and opportunities to network
Day 3, September 19 – 8am-1pm field trip to nearby AIS management locations
Day 1 and Day 2 will be filled with presentations, group discussions, committee progress updates, business meeting and more. The agenda is under development. The opportunity to submit a presentation abstract will open in Spring 2025.
PLAN YOUR TRIP
The meeting will be held in Lawrence, Kansas which is approximately 50 miles from the Kansas City International Airport, Kansas City.
Lawrence Kansas is a medium size college town with many walkable restaurants from the host hotel.
Fly: The Kansas City International Airport is serviced by multiple large carrier airlines and many with direct flight options.
Shuttle: Lawrence, Kansas is approximately 50 miles from the Kansas City International Airport (technically in Missouri). There are many airport shuttle options.
Carpool: Consider coordinating your travel with other colleagues to minimize costs and reduce your carbon footprint.
Walk: The host hotel is walkable to many coffee shops, lunch and dinner options. A rental car will not be needed for the duration of the meeting.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION
Virtual participation for the 2025 Annual Meeting will be limited. The WRP-MRBP will have a virtual platform to join the meeting, however there will be limited ability to interact with the speakers and audience. We encourage you to participate in person. If you have any questions or comments regarding virtual participation – please reach out.

REGISTRATION
Registration will open in Summer 2025. There is no cost to attend the annual meeting. However, for planning purposes all attendees must register for the event. If you will not attend in person, see information below about virtual participation. Registration for the event includes multiple refreshment breaks.
The field trip will be limited to the first 50 registrants for participation. Participants should plan for rain or shine conditions.
