2021 Alaska Annual Meeting

The Western Regional Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species is proud to announce our 2020 Annual Meeting September 16-18 at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, AK. You can visit the hotel’s website here. This meeting is being hosted by Alaska Fish and Game.

Agenda at a Glance

There will will be two days of presentations highlighting the research of the past year and looking forward to action items set in place for the future. On the third day of the meeting, there will be a field trip that explores the local environment and looks at the local invasive species issues.

If you are interested in presenting at the Annual Meeting we will be accepting abstracts to be considered by the Executive Committee. Keep an eye out for further information on the submission process.

If you are interested in presenting at the Annual Meeting, please submit an abstract outlining the content of your presentation using the online submission form. All presentations must be relevant to AIS with particular attention to innovative, forward-thinking research and technology.Deadline for submitting abstracts is April 15th, 2020. The Annual Meeting Planning Team will review all abstracts and make final selections. Notifications will be made by May 2020.
